I had been taken off of Amiodarone because I was drifting towards hyperthyroidism. The EP put me on Multaq which was totally ineffective in keeping my A-Fib under control. After a year of this, and being in and out of A-Fib for all that time, and miserable, he and my cardiologist decided I should resume Amiodarone. It's been about 2 months now since the changeover and I feel great! No A-Fib and, so far, no side effects. If I start to have thyroid issues again, I will have to deal with that or be a candidate for ablation. ## I am glad that the Amiodarone is working well for you, now.
