This tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 1gram of Valacyclovir. The FDA classifies this medication as an antiviral drug that helps slow the growth and spread of the herpes virus. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. Thus no, it wouldn't be used for facial numbness. What was your diagnosis?
