Our Dr. prescribed this to my 15 yr old daughter?

My daughter went to the dr with pain in her ear and side of head when she wakes up in the am, he prescribed meloxicam 15 mg every day?? Is this safe he says it's TMJ arthralgia, at 15? I don't think the long term side effects are worth the risk!! ## Have you taken her to see a dentist to have this confirmed? Or perhaps to an ENT specialist? I have TMJ and have experienced pain in those areas on waking up in the morning, but it wasn't due to the TMJ, it was due to an outer ear infection. It occurs very easily if one gets water in their ears and you often hear it referred to as swimmer's ear for that reason, though it can happen due to water from showering and bathing, as well. Learn more Meloxicam details here. And on the Meloxicam, I agree, I wouldn't want to start g......

doctor has prescribed evion as iam suffering from leg pain is this a correct medicines for me iam 36 years old please advise

hI, I am 36 yrs old working lade suffering lower waist pain and civiour leg pain. doctor has prescribed evion as iam suffering from leg pain is this a correct medicines for me iam 36 years old please advise ## HI, Rassu! Sorry about the pain you've been having. How are you feeling today? Evion is actually just a nutritional supplement that contains Vitamin E, so I am really not sure how much it is going to help you with such pain. There are some supplements that support the nerves and can help with some types of nerve pain, but they are usually B vitamins, not vitamin E. Did he say what's causing the pain? ## I'm not a doctor. I'm just an old woman with many years of pain. This is for anyone even pregnant women or nursing mothers that need relief from throbbing aching pa......

I Am A 66 Year Old And On Limited Income My Insurance Will Not Cover This Medicine What Can Do Or Fing Some Relief From Being Able To Affo H

How can I get this medicine at an affordable price. my insurance will not cover and charges my $25 for 15 pills. On fixed income and cannot afford. Any information will be mostly appreciated. Email address {edited for privacy} ## Have you considered applying for any type of patient assistance program to help cover a percentage of the cost of your medication? There are also a number of "prescription drug coupons" that can be found online through various search engines like Google, as a last resort option. Patient assistance programs aren't always available, as it largely depends on the manufacturer; but if you're goal is to just save some money, I think some of these coupons can save you anywhere from 10-75% off your next script. In the meantime, I'd recommend asking ......

i was given a drug screen @ my pain clinic it showed possitive for Suboxone and i dont take Suboxone ## What medications do you take? If they use a less expensive, non-certified test, then they are known to give false positives anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. Thus, if you take a semi-synthetic, or synthetic opiate, it is possible that it can cause a false positive for one, or more of its relatives. Learn more Suboxone details here. ## i take wellbutrin, topomax.. i tested positive for suboxone, i dont do suboxone. will this test be corrected once its sent to a lab? ## will melatonin, topomax, wellbutrin, cause a false positive for suboxone? i do not use this drug or any other drug and do not understand how i could test positive. ## will topomax cause a fale positive? ## I used synhe......

He is normal in a week. after 15 days he again having motions (not very loose) 8 to 10 times a day. please provide some advice what needs to be done in order to reduce his motion count. ## Hi Chandu! Are you talking about diarrhea? If you are, some babies can be lactose intolerant just as adults can be. That means they can't drink milk products that contain lactose. My son had that problem when he was a baby . But then again, sometimes babies will move their bowels more than others. I would talk to the pediatrician. ## P.s. Are you breast feeding at all? Because, breast fed babies will move their bowels more often and it will be loose. ## No Iam not breas......

Dilaudid given to 91 year old mom

My mom went to the emergency room and we think they gave her Dilaudid instead of tylenol for pain which was not in anyway severe or the reason she was there. After that she was totally knocked out and now 2 1/2 days later is in a semi comatose state. Could this be the result of being given that drug mistakenly? ## If you look on the paperwork from your E.R. room visit you’ll be able too see exactly what they did from the diagnostic to determine what was wrong with your mother to what type of medications they gave her while she was there and what they sent home with her for a prescription.. usually all doctors are very very tedious about what they prescribe elderly people and what is age-appropriate also with the opioid epidemic that is going on the crisis with people becoming addi......
