Hi I was wondering if I could take 2-25mg caps of hydroxyzine? I take 1 twice a day but I didn't know if I could take 2 to sleep. Has anyone else had a hard time lately getting this medication from their pharmacy? The last couple/few times i've needed it, i've had to call around to different CVS's. My regular CVS hasn't had it for at least the past couple of months. Last month, i got it filled at another CVS downtown, but this month they only have 3 in stock, so i called yet another CVS and luckily they had them in stock. What a hassle to get my medication. My new doctor (I moved) is taking me off hydroxyzine pam 50 . She said it is not good for people over 65, I am 67. I itch and that was why my doctor where I lived put me on it 3 years ago. I Have several itching to most all pain killers and lots of other meds like middle relaxers and some over the counter meds. The itches is so severe that almost rather hurt than to itch.
