Extreme Fatigue On Xarelto

Hello, Hope someone can help. I've been hitting a wall of fatigue everyday about 1pm to the point where I need to take a 2 hour nap when my daughter is napping and its painful to wake up even after that. I take Xarelto everyday with dinner to treat a DVT. I've been on it 4 months. Is this a known side effect? I tested my theory when I started to realize this began after taking Xarelto and skipped a dose one evening. The following day I didn't need a nap and didnt have that same debilitating exhaustion. Hi i have been on xeralto since july 2014. i have extreme fatigue, weight gain,abdominal pain, occassional woozy spells with dizziness. now i am having blurred vision with my glasses on cant see happened while driving scared me. i drove very slow till i got home and it is still happening for 2days now. i do have a headache as well and going into deep sleep. any onr have.this. Oh yea at night my arms go to sleep and tingle alot. i dont take any other meds my body all ways has every side effect when i take them. i get so nauseated at time. i want off of.this. i have P.E.s....just wanted to share my ecperience. Hi. I used Xarelto for a few days for DVT. It caused extreme bleeding in me. I have a myoma. It was not time for my period, but I started losing blood and clots immediately. Needed to change things every 10-15 minutes. I already had bad iron deficiency anemia, so that is not a good thing. Now that this side effect stopped, I quit. I have severe fatigue and diarrhea. I read Xarelto has lactose, which I am intolerant to (thanks, doc). So that may explain something. But it does not stop. Same for the dizzy spells and vertigo and disoriented feelings in my head. And for the anxiety and suicidal depression and irritability. I was happy and balanced (even if somewhat concerned about the DVT) before starting. Only a few days of Xarelto, changed me around. Started Xarelto two days ago. The first day extreme fatigue and bone and joint pain. I don't think I can co tinue on this drug much longer. Going to call my doctor but just wanted to hear from anyone else that might be experiencing this. Does it get better or go away? Thanks in advance for any advice ## I had joint pain after starting on Xarelto, but it went away after a couple of months. I was told joint pain is a common side effect, but should eventually go away as your body adjusts to the medication. I would still talk to your doctor, though! ## Thanks for you input. I'm on xeralto for over a year and a half for 2 dvts and one pulmonary embolism. I've gained some weight, 25 lbs but I am a huge eater, but more interesting I always have a very distended belly, some have mentioned this in the forum. It's not an easy choice as to any alternatives because vaginal I can get a clot and die very easily. Alternatives such as garlic, ginger, omega 3, vit e, are Clancy at best. So what is one to do? I'm extremely fatigued too. I didn't even think if this is because of the xeralto! Hello Everyone, My husband has been taking Xarelto for 11 days for a DVT discovered due to an unrelated nerve issue in his lower right leg. Since being on the meds he complains of being nauseous and doesn't feel like eating which is causing weight loss. He is also extremely fatigued. He feels tired, weak and has some tingling in his arms, legs.....also says that he feels "jittery" (he isn't shaking physically, but feels jittery).
