Adderall speeds up your body, ramping up your metabolism, so it can actually cause weight loss, as a side effect, along with dizziness, headaches, and insomnia. The safest and healthiest way to gain weight is by maintaining a proper diet, and exercise program, but even then, some people never gain much weight, their bodies just aren't made to do so. Hi, I am very slim. 5'2 and no more than 95lbs and that's pushing it!! I have no appetite and a very fast metabolism!! I cannot afford to buy any weight supplement over the counter. I don't have a doctor as of yet either as almost no doctor will accept patients who are on Oregon Health Plan!! Anyway, I am trying to find out if CB1 can be prescribed by a Physician or only available OTC? I take a combination pill lisinopril/hctz for high blood pressure would it be safe to take the cb1 weight gainer with my medication ## Hello, Rick! How are you? If you have high blood pressure, it would be best to check with your doctor, before doing anything to try to gain weight. Extra weight places extra work load on the heart, which could just worsen your condition. Is there anything else I can help with?
