Hi. I was taking aspirin delayed release 75mg. For last 3-4 years. is ecosprin 75 delayed release and ecosprin gastro resistant same ? ## Hi saah, "Gastro-resistant" and "delayed release" are two completely different components. The term "gastro-resistant" (also commonly referred to as "enteric-coated") is simply a buffer agent to make it easier on the stomach. And "delayed release" casually refers to longer lasting effects. However, to better address your question, Ecosprin (Aspirin) 75mg delayed release tablets ARE described on several sites as being enteric-coated. So in that sense they do share the same properties. I hope this helps!
