A Year back by accident I had checked my BP and it was 210/130 & I underwent various treatments in the hospital. I was advised to take Amlong 2.5mg & Telma 40 twice a day. I am 20 years old , Male . I have been takng amlong 5mg for the past 4 months. When i was Diagonised with HBP ,i was recommended to lose some weight, hence i have taken to running , irun about 5km in a day, as i have been doing the same regularly , ifind no difference in my body fat loss, the abdominal fat remains the same as how it was 4 months ago and there is growth of fat sideways, what can i do? is it a harmful sign? ## Try running in empty stomach in the morning. 1 month before my master checkup i was having regular headaches sometimes at a very high frequency. After the master checkup came to know that my BP was high 200/180 (i doubt on 180). Immediately i was admitted in icu and was treated for 3 days later with drugs. I was discharged when it was 160/120 (120 am not sure) cardiologist took echo diagnostic and said grade 1 disease. Later he gave me Amlong 5mg(1-0-1); Tazloc 80mg(1-0-1); Prolomet XL 50(1-0-0); Larpose 1mg(0-0-1). I didnt take Larpose but started to take the other tablets. Last week BP was 140/80 and cardiologists had advised to take Tazloc AM (1-0-1); Prolomet XL 25(1-0-0) for 15 days and to report back. Now I am under treatment and it's the 11th day. My bp is 130/50. I am 78 years old. I take amlong 5mg and atorvastatin 5mg alternate days. Is it ok/ ## What has your doctor advised? Have they run any heart function tests? The 130 is still a little over normal, however, the 50 is low and may signify a problem. I'm a 40 year old diagnosed with High Bp for the past 5 years. I was on Losar h in the morning and amlong 5mg in the night. After that my Bp for a very long time (maybe years) was 110/75, but with frequent severe headaches (weekly twice and each time for over 24 hours). 2 weeks back due to non availability of losar h, i had to consume amlong 5 mg both in morning and night and continued with it. Surprisingly my headache vanished, but I felt problem with my eyesight, swelling of legs and ankle, constipation problem.. Taking AMTAS AT50mg in the morning. Past 15 days back, had chest pain with BP 100/150 . Carried out all tests., Including Angiography. Diagnosed as CAD to be treated with proper medication.
