I am starting Rowasa tonight and want feedback from others that have used it. How do you hold it for 8 hours? ## When using Rowasa, I try to alter my diet a bit to reduce stool bulk and gas (less fiber, etc.). I also try to relax and have a BM as late in the evening as possible and use the Rowasa immediately before going to bed. This works well for me.

Before I started taking Humira I read so many messages about issues with the drug. I suspect the people who are unhappy are far more likely to post comments than those who are happy. I'm going to reverse that trend. 66 y/o diagnosed with UC in September 2013. Initial therapy with Lialda was very effective. A year later following a flare I was prescribed Uceris to get back into remission. It too was effective. Yet another year later and another flare neither of these drugs did the job. Tried Rowasa to no avail and started a Prednisone taper. My doctor suggested Humira and I resisted strongly having read all of the negative blogs. Finally I threw in the towel and said let's do it....I was miserable. Less then two weeks into therapy after the first four injections and I am 90% to r...
