My daughter has just been prescribed 8ml of clindamycin palmitate 3 times a day for 7 days. She has been fighting ear infections, sinus infections and upper respiratory infections for the past 4 months. She has been on amoxicillin, Augmentin, septra and cefdinir and neither of these have worked. I took her to an ENT last week and recommended we remove her tonsils and adenoids and have ear tubes put in. She is scheduled for 3/11 however she is still running a fever off and on and has a slight cough so that is why he gave her clindamycin.
