Has any women had a reaction to using Clindesse vaginal cream? I am having serious itching and burning after my one dose. Have really not had time to go back to the doctor due to work issues but I think I am going to have to. ## YES! The same thing happened to me. I will never take this medicine again. It turned an annoying BV itch into a burning horrible itch. I finally had to douche this medicine out. ## The itching is a normal side effect of this medication. ## My doctor said that extreme itching and burning is not normal and indicates an allergic reaction. She explained that slight irritation is the common side effect that the manufacturer describes. Basically, if you itch worse than you did with BV- this medication is not for you. I am finishing a 7 day dose of clindamycin 300 mg taken once every 8 hours on Friday, which leaves me with no weekend coverage if dental infection isn't gone. If the antibiotic is working, there should be no worsening after being on it for a full 24 hours and you should start to see some improvement after taking it for a full 3 days.
