Indocin Overview

Indometacin, also known as indomethacin, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) commonly used as a prescription medication to reduce fever, pain, stiffness, and swelling from inflammation. It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, endogenous signaling molecules known to cause these symptoms. ## what is endocin? ## I had an extreme reaction to this med. My throat closed. Was for muscle spasm and inflammation. ## Indocin is a name brand for Indomethacin. It is not used for muscle spasms though, this is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it will only help with inflammation and the aches and pains caused from it.
