I have a small square pill with CC on one side and 59 on the other side. What is it used to treat? ## I've yet to come across the CC 59 imprint, but did however, locate square pills with CC 60 and CC 61 respectively (perhaps they may be related). A square white pill with CC 61 is reportedly a Famotidine 40mg tablet with a National Drug Code of 65862-0860 A square yellow pill with CC 60 is reportedly a Famotidine 20mg tablet with a National Drug Code of 65862-0859 I don't know what color your pill is, but I'm under the impression that it may be a 10mg Famotidine tablet. If you're able to, I'd consider taking it into a local pharmacy just to double check for that possibility. For verification, the pills mentioned above are manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma. Does this pill help anyone produce a bowel movement? I swear I have to go within 30 minutes of every time I take this pill. Feedback please! ## Yes, it can cause that as a side effect in some people that take it, according to FDA reports. You may also experience nausea, stomach pain, and flatulence. Are you on any other medications? How often do you take it? Do you get diarrhea, or just a regular bowel movement? ## I take 20mg every morning, along with aspirin, blood pressure medication & a beta blocker. At first i got diarrhea from it then my body got use to it. Now it works like a dream. On some days if I have a morning workout I do not take Famotidine. Trying to figure out what kinda of pill this is found it in my sons ## I really need to find out what kinda pill my son is taking ## Is there any chance that the marking on the pill was read upside down? I'm only asking because the imprint "L194" comes up as a small white round pill by the name of Famotidine 20 mg; a medication used to treat stomach ulcers / acidity. For verification, the size of this pill is reportedly 8.00 mm and manufactured by Major Pharmaceuticals with a National Drug Code of 00904-5780. NOTE: You can click on the NDC link for an actual image of the pill. Unfortunately I haven't come across any other specific details on the alternative imprint "4617", but if anything I hope this at least helps to narrow down the possibilities of further sear...

Pink Oval Pill With Line Down The Middle
3 Replies RSS
I have a pinkish colored decent sized pink pill. There are no markings on it just a line down the middle on one side. I also I have the same pills in white. Plain white and oval with just a line down the middle on one side. Anyone know what these are? ## I'm sorry, but without any markings, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what these tablets contain. We can rule them out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription product, because they are all required by law to have an imprint to enable their identification. However, it they could be over the counter products and there is a small chance that they could be foreign medications. Where were they found/obtained? ## It is Famotidine, or pepcid. ## I have the same type of pills and two different colors of pink and one whitis...
