Small Orange Round Pill Scored On One Side "coffee cup with spoon in it on other side

It is a small light orange/peach round pill with a score on one side and a coffee cup looking imprint with what looks like a spoon or something in it. ## As far as I'm aware, this logo is used on over the counter products. The company uses it on all of the ones they manufacture, so I don't know which specific one this is, but many of them seem to be supplements, rather than medications. The logo you're looking at is actually meant to be a mortar and pestle, the mortar is a bowl used to hold substances intended to be crushed and the pestle is used to crush them and mix them. Does anyone recognize this pill and know what it is? ## I have the same on my pills Azathioprine 50mg made by Co Pharma

Azathioprine & the sun?

Does anyone else notice adverse affects from the sun when taking Azathioprine? I've been taking it for a few months now & when I'm out in the sun I get little itchy bumps. I just started going tanning again for the first time since I began using the drug & each time I've broken out into this terrible red, itchy rash. I've been going tanning for 20 years with no ill affects - and the only thing that has changed is the addition of the Azathioprine... ## Well first off, let me state that tanning is a very dangerous activity, it can lead to premature skin aging and skin cancer. Secondly, most prescription drugs do not mix with the suns rays and heat, most of them carry warnings to avoid or limit sun exposure as much as possible while taking them. This drug is no exce...

Generic Azathioprine

Why is the genetic for Imuran considered a specialty drug by Express Scripts? My husband took this med for years without being a specialty drug. Do you know why or is this just a ploy by Express Scripts to allow them to charge the patient more? ## It really depends upon them and their criteria for various medications and their coverage. Most insurance plans usually set up a certain formulary with various tiers, the lowest prices are usually for generics that have been available for a long time, and maintenance medications, then it goes up from there, depending on the availability of the medication, as well other criteria. Thus, it isn't likely to change much, even if you used a regular pharmacy, such as Walgreen's. The pharmacy, whether mail order, or physical, actually are not ...

GG 110

The pill is roughly 10 mm in diameter. It is pale yellow in color. It is circular in shape apart from the top, which is hexagonal. It is scored, above is stamped "GG" and below the score line is stamped "110" ## Hello, Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a pill with the same imprint that you are describing. I was kind of confused by how you described the shape of your pill, is it round or hexagonal? I've found plenty of round pills with a GG imprint above another set of numbers, but none with GG 110. Are you absolutely sure that is the correct imprint? The closest match I ended up finding (in regards to the color and imprint) is an oblong pale yellow pill with GG on the left side, then a score, and the number 210 on the right..that pill is identified as Az...

colitis & Azathioprene

My wife hast been suffering with Colitis and Hiatal hernia for some time The bleedind associated with it is troubling. ## I am assuming, with those conditions, that she is under regular doctor's care, and if so, they are monitoring the situation, and if it reaches a problem point, they will know how to treat it and what to do. So I would guess that as long as she keeps her doc visits, you can relax and while you will always worry, just keep supporting her and make sure she keeps her docs appointments, and worry a little less.
