My father is taking Pantocid Hp for 7 days and on the 6th day he complained about insomnia, heartburn, prickling sensation over his whole body, low-grade fever, fatigue. Are they the normal side effects of the drug? He has had a known case of gastritis for the past 20 yrs and recently diagnosed with ulceration.

Pantop contains the active ingredient Pantoprazole, and it is known to cause abdominal pain, as a side effect, according to the NIH. Someone taking it may also experience nausea, flatulence, dizziness, and diarrhea.

Puya, can you please post back with more details about the medications included in that kid? That would help me to provide you with more accurate information, thank you! Is he on any other medications?
