Hello, Doreen! How are you?

The FDA classifies this medication as an antibiotic and they can cause yeast infections, as a side effect as listed by the FDA, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

If you've never had a yeast infection before, then you should see your doctor to confirm what it is and they'll be able to prescribe the proper medication to eradicate it for you.

Is there anything else I can help with?

ALWAYS buy yogurt with active cultures when taking any antibiotic. I am so surprised, that doctors keep forgetting to tell people this.
I also think it should be on the label of the antibiotic. Especially woman, but men can get yeast infections, from antibiotics too. It's too late for you. You need to go be seen by your OBGYN, and get her/him to prescribe something to cure that right up. Ask the doctor who prescribed it, why they did not mention this to you. Healthcare seems to be taking a huge dive, from the way we were treated decades ago. It is annoying for sure.
