I am using this for past 9 months the above medicine(morning) and clinidipine 10mg at night my weight reduced nearly 7kgs and also at present borderline in blood sugar and my triglyceride also increased slightly. I think it is due to the medicines I am taking for asthma and BP. At present my BP 140/90. Any medications effectively reduces my BP without increasing bloodsugar/triglycerides level

Sureah, can you please post back with more specifics regarding the names of all the medications you are taking? It is really hard to answer your questions without know more details.

The NIH lists the typical side effects of Telmisartan, and Chlorthalidone as possibly including nausea, dizziness, increased urination, headache, and hypotension.

Siddiqu, yes, that might be a side effect of the medication, so you should consult your doctor as you may need to try a different medication.

How are you both doing? Has there been any change?
