Hi dawna,

The round yellow pill you have is identified as Topiramate (50 mg).

NOTE: the correct marking is "IG 279", with an upper case "i".

Manufacturer: InvaGen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
National Drug Code (NDC): 31722-0279

Topiramate treats epilepsy in children and adults and was originally marked as an anticonvulsant. It is FDA approved for, and most frequently prescribed for, the prevention of migraines. It may also be used in treatment of fibromyalgia.
