Prexum Can Cause Allergic

I have just been prescribed Prexum 2.5mg and after taking it for 3 days have developed a shaking feeling in my stomach and legs I stopped taking the medication and the shaking stopped I started to take the medication again and the shaking returned could this be an allergic reaction? The only other medication I take very occasionally is Nexium

Just checked up on this, it is recommended that Prexum be given with a diuretic or digoxin. Otherwise, your dose might be too high if you are feeling “fluttery”?

It can be prescribed alone, it doesn't have to be given with another medication.

As to the tremors, the NIH does report that as being a possible side effect of this medication, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination, so not it is not an allergic reaction, it is a side effect. If it is that severe, you should consult your doctor, you may need to take another medication.

I stopped it for 3 days and the shaking almost disappeared then I took another tablet and it came back I am not taking any other medication I have decided to take the Prexum every other day because the days I am not taking it my BP is only 123/65, I have told the doctor about the shaking and all she says is that it is anxiety about taking the tablets! I do suffer with anxiety slightly but not to that extreme !
