Pain Clinic In Nc
UpdatedWHY does the pain clinic have to make you feel like YOU have to PROVE you are doing nothing wrong?!?! I have gotten jumped by the nurses 3x now and ALL 3 times they had another person's chart!!!! They seem to accuse everyone with NO proof! You can't argue with them because then they might drop you! God help me find a physician who actually gives a crap!!! My angel of a Dr retired 7 years ago and I have been in hell ever since. With him I was able to say my pain was at a 2 at times! Now I fill out their "pain chart" and really really mean I stay at an 8 to 9 but they don't even read what they make you fill out! I have been there 3 yrs now and I swear no one there even knows my name. Does someone know of a decent caring Dr anywhere close to Concord NC??? Please help me!

I am very sorry about what you're going through. No one should have to deal with this and no one should have to suffer in pain.
However, they really have no choice but to be very careful and strict about prescribing, or they risk losing their jobs, or license to practice medicine. The government has laid out very strict regulations that they must abide by and that includes having to have tons of paperwork from the patients and making them prove they aren't abusing their medications and etc.
As to the thing about them looking at the wrong chart, that is rude and shouldn't be happening. Start making them double check all the time, right from when you're called in for your appointment and the person has a folder, computer or whatever that they are using….just say: I want to make sure there are no misunderstandings, is that my chart? and then give them your name.
As to finding a new place to go, do you currently have a PCP? If so, they should be able to refer you to a place that can help.
I need the name of a pain clinic in Statesville North Carolina that prescribes oxycodone
