This is my third month on minastrin and the first month was a normal period for about 4 days, second month was brown discharge and blood for about 4 days and this month I have not had my period yet after the four inactive pills. Is there anything to be worried about, by not getting my period?

No, some women stop having periods, while taking oral contraceptives and it is nothing to worry about, unless your doctor sees reason to be concerned.

Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Is there anything else I can help with?

My doctor gave me a sample pack of Minastrin 24 fe and was supposed to call in the regular prescription to my pharmacy. Unfortunately, he didn't and I didn't realize until I completed the first pack. I finished the last pill of the pack about 2.5 weeks ago and still have not gotten a period. Is this normal with this particular birth control? He did warn me that I may not get a period while using it.
