I believe you meant to say Pliva 469, instead of Plavin. The green pill in description is Propranolol Hydrochloride (40 mg).

Propranolol Hydrochloride is a non-selective beta blocker mainly used in the treatment of hypertension.

I have been taking Propranolol Pliva 20 mg (a blue pill) for over a year. My pharmacist gave me a refill of propranolol hydrochloride 20 mg ( a green pill). Are these the same medicine and just a different manufacturer or a different medicine? I didn't realize the pill difference until I got home.
