Have just found out my doc put me on cymbalta and i'll be going back to my home country where this drug is not available. I will go see my doc later this week but was wondering if I could stop taking it until then? Don't wanna get too much in the system.

There shouldn't be any problem stopping it that fast, you haven't been on it for that long.

Do you know what's available to you?

If not, feel free to post back and someone can check for you! :-)

Start trying to get off it now! It’s the hardest drug I have ever had to quit. I have known lots of people that suggest counting the crystals in the capsules and each week reducing by 2 crystals and doing this for as long as it takes. Since you haven’t been on it for very long, it might not be so bad. I’ve heard of people taking up to a year to get off it. Good luck
