How can ethanol be in my urine? I don't drink alcohol. Is there anything else that could have caused that?

Hello, Jody! How are you?

According to the NIH, there are several reasons that this may occur. Are you on any medications? Are you diabetic?

Have you taken a cough syrup or anything similar recently? Many of them are actually very well known to cause it.

It's even used in some of the sore throat sprays and some mouthwashes.
