Based on my research, Terramycin can be used for ear infections, in humans and dogs.

Terramycin contains the active ingredient Oxytetracycline which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, active against a wide variety of bacteria. However, some strains of bacteria have developed resistance to this antibiotic, which has reduced its effectiveness for treating some types of infections.

Side effects are mainly relating to the digestive system, and photosensitive allergic reactions common to the tetracycline antibiotics group. It can also damage calcium-rich organs, such as teeth and bones, although this is very rare.

I would give your veterinarian a call if you're unsure of the dosage for your dog.
