my doctor wants me to take at 4pm and at 10pm and drink 5 8oz glasses of liquid after each dose. That would have me going to sleep at 3 am. Is this necessary

It would be best to follow your doctor's instructions for the proper way to take it. But, if you can't do so, then you may want to give them a call and see what your alternatives might be.

Is Pico Salax available in 12 mg form? I am having a colonoscopy in the US where Prepopic is used. I found PicoSalax is the same preparation under a different name in Canada. In the US the same packet is $117 vx Canada $49 but the dosage is different..10mg PicoSalax 12mg Preppic. Any ideas?
