Can I take marijuana when taking the medication Yasmin? ## Marijuana doesn't really interact with most drugs including birth control to the best of my knowledge. I think it would mostly intensify the effects of alcohol or other controlled substances.

I've been using trust pills for 2 months but I experienced different kinds of side effects like headache nausea one my friend told me to change into lady pills instead. I want to know more about it ## I LOVE Yasmin. I have been taking it for a long time. I have tried other BCP, but none work as well for me as this one. My gyno has me taking them continuously and I stop every 3 months and have a cycle, so I have a period 4 times a year which is WONDERFUL. I bloat a little bit, just when I stop to have it and also cramp, but its only 4 times a year! Hope this helps! ## Why do I have spotting after taking Yasmin pills? Hi, I had irregular periods problem from the time i matured. I took treatment but that was never cured. Now I am married for 4 months. I met a gynaecologist in Apr and she put me on Dronis 20 to regularise my periods but when i started the tablets from the 1st day of my periods and completed all the 24 tablets but my periods has not stopped for 29 days now. i had trapic MF in between for 3 days (10 tabs),to stop but it never helped. From today i am on Regestrone 5mg to stop my periods for 3 weeks. and later when my periods starts in june again from 5th day i would be on Yasmin (27 Tablets). Can i start taking yasmin on the sunday mark even if its not sunday? ## Yes, unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you can just make a clean switch from one to the other on the day you are due to start a new pack. If you started it the third day or later, then you'll need to take it for a full 7 days, before it will become effective at preventing pregnancy. I have been prescribed calvepen 666 mG for tonsillitis and am currently taking the contraceptive pill yasmin. My question is will the antibiotics interfere with the effectiveness of the pill? If so, the round white pill you're describing is reported to be a birth control tablet by the name of Yasmin (drospirenone + ethinyl estradiol). However I noticed you also mentioned that it is easily broken in two... Does this mean that there may be a score line as well? Thanks for any additional info you can provide!

I got my tonsils out last tuesday (I live in Spain) and the doctor prescribed Paracetamol 1gm and Nolotil (Metamizole) 575mg to be taken ever 8 hours on alternating 8 hours. I have been taking Yasmin for a few years now with no problems. But, starting 2 days ago I noticed some spotting, today I put in a tampon to make sure of where the blood was coming from and it seems to be now a little more than spotting.
