I am taking amoxicillin 875mg pills for 14 days. About how long does it take after the 14 days of antibiotics are completed for it to be completely out of my system?

Hello, Fred! How are you?

The FDA classifies this medication as an antibiotic and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

It only takes about 2 days for it to be excreted from the body, but some side effects may linger longer.

Is there anything else I can help with?

since taking amocixillin 500 i noticed that my urine was color brown or slightly dark is that normal? i stopped taking it but my urine is still discolored. Is that because the amox is still in my system? thanks.
