What Will My Previfem Do?

Hey I just recently got my previfem pack on the 6th of this month....I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the 4th. didn't take the plan b or anything and just started taking my birth control yesterday which was the 18th. Will the previfem make my period come on or should I get a pregnancy test?
