Can I take Betamox 500mg for flu & cold symtoms?

Betamox contains the active ingredient Amoxicillin, which is an antibiotic and it is only effective at treating bacterial infections.

Since cold or flu and the symptoms form them are caused by viruses, it will not help with treat them.

Additionally, you create the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria, so it really isn't wise to take it for viruses.
