Amy Says:

A child in my school is said to be using this medication for a mood disorder. Could this be correct? or did the mother give me the wrong medication?

Verwon Says:

Sandoz Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 4mgs of Tizanidine, which is a muscle relaxant. So, while it may be calming, it i not usually used to treat mood disorders.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.

Amy, can you please double check the imprint and post back? Thank you!
