Tizanidine Medication

I have had hallucinations and terrible, very realistic nightmares. I finally figured out that it was only after I took my tizanidine. I thought I was going crazy. I am not going to take it anymore and hope that I return to normal. My husband also complained about me acting and speaking unusually. ## Glad to hear you stopped taking it. Tizanidine does seem like a pretty dangerous medication when it comes down to possible side effects. MedlinePlus lists "changes in vision" as well as "seeing things or hearing voices that do not exist" to be common but serious side effects of Tizanidine. Learn More: Tizanidine Details Have you already started looking into other alternative treatment options? ## I have had hallucinations when taking this as well! They usually occur in the da...

Identifying a pill with U 153 on it
1 Reply RSS
I'm trying to identify a pill imprinted with U 153. There's also a cross score (X) on the back like you could cut into four pieces. Thanks for any help. ## Is it possible that the marking is actually U 159? Can you please double check and post back? There is tablet with that marking that is scored in a cross shape, it is manufactured by Unichem Pharmaceuticals, and they list it as containing 4mgs of Tizanidine, which is muscle relaxant that is used to the pain associated with sprains, strains, and spasms. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and headache. It is a relatively mild one, not nearly as potent as some of the others that are available.

White round pill APO TI-4

Trying to find out the name of a small white round pill with the letters APO on top and TI-4 on the bottom. The other side has two lines; one going down and the other going across. ## A white round pill with APO over TI-4 on one side and cross-scored on the back is reportedly identified as Tizanidine 4mg, used as a muscle relaxant. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Apotex and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 60505-0252. You can also click on the NDC link for an image of the pill. I hope this helps!

Tizanidine feels toxic, like I need to clean it out!

Basically have been trying to manage shoulder or possibly neck tensing issue for about 4-5 months now. I also try to remain active. Go to the gym regularly. One day woke up with my right side stiff, and very little feeling in it. Called doc. Who suggested this stuff. Tried it twice. And still feel...off. Foggy, light headed, random drops (then spikes) in blood pressure pulse etc. Not at my self which is normally pretty lighthearted and goofy. I called the doctor for a follow up. Doc didn't believe me saying those problems are rare. I have not taken another pill so as to avoid making matters worse. Any one else run into this? Any advice or opinions for what to do next? Any suggestions or ideas on detoxing from this stuff? ## As a follow up. I was lucky. I got into see a acupuncture s...

## I was prescribed tizanidine for muscle pain will this medication trigger my anxiety ## I wouldn't think it would. Everyone is different but this is a muscle relaxer and therefore has some sedating properties associated with it. If anything I would think it may calm you down some. I've taken it for years and never had an issue with it causing anxiety ## How are you doing on it, Susie? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Are you on any other medications?

white round pill U 159

The pill I found is round, white and had an x on one side and U 159 on the other side. What is it? ## Any chance that the imprint on your pill says "U 169" instead of U 159? I located a round white pill with U 169 on one side and an x (or cross-scored) on the back. This pill is reportedly identified as a 4mg Tizanidine HCL tablet, used as a muscle relaxant. For verification, the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 29300-0169 and is manufactured by Unichem Pharma. I hope this helps!
