I've been experiencing severe pain on the entire left side of my mouth, specifically intensifying around the bottom back tooth on the left side. I'm curious if anyone has tried using Tizanidine for managing tooth pain and would appreciate hearing about your experiences or any advice on this approach? ## Hello, Tissua! Tizanidine is in a class of medications called skeletal muscle relaxants and is used to treat the types of pain associated with strains, sprains and spasms. It works by slowing action in the brain and nervous system to allow the muscles to relax. That said, Tizanidine is not indicated for use in managing pain related to toothaches. I have been taking Tizanidine 12mg at night and 4 mg in the morning for over 3 months and have been experiencing some alarming abnormal dreams that caused Hallicinations. It seems the Hallicinations occur when I am already tired and then take my normal medication dose at night. Until last night the Hallicinations never caused me to jump out of bed in extreme fright. I typically remember when I have the hallucinations and they always frighten me. The Hallicinations are always thinking someone is in my room and I always demand "who are you?". Last night when the same thing occurred I actually jumped physically out of bed and tried to escape my room past the hallucinated "person" and remember having difficulty getting out the door of my room. I made it out and it seemed at ...

Can u us a tizanidine R 180 white oval pill for a toothache. ## Hello, Chawny! How are you? I'm sorry about the toothache. Can tizanidine or hydrocodone cause you to test positive for opi. ## Hydros are a derivative of opiates so yes you will test positive for it. The tizanidine is a non narcotic muscle relaxant so it won't show up as an opiate. ## Tizanidine with 4 slits and 1 side has R180: For people that take this, You will test positive for opiates, Its considered a narcotic, Because There is 1 ingredient That they use in this and its use in opiates like perks. The reason i know I just got prescribed it and it is a muscle relaxer but my doctor told me it is considered a narcotic And he gave me a urine stick to take home. So he knows im taking it. It will show up positive. Just so you people know.

Does Tizanidine have opiates in them or any narcotics? Will it show up in a drug test? ## No Tinazidine is non-narcotic. ## I don't believe it is a narcotic drug. As far as a drug screening goes it really depends on what they look for in the urine/blood sample. They can look for narcotic, illicit, and commonly abused drugs. If it is an employer looking most likely they wouldn't even check for that drug. Drug court may. ## Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant, definitely non-narcotic. ## I have been taking suboxone for 3 months now and I believe it is a wonder drug..I don't believe in going on methadone, so its been a answer to my prayers with help getting off heroin..but it's giving me wicked heart palpitations and making me kinda nervous..anyone else???
