Trying to find out the name of a small white round pill with the letters APO on top and TI-4 on the bottom. The other side has two lines; one going down and the other going across. ## A white round pill with APO over TI-4 on one side and cross-scored on the back is reportedly identified as Tizanidine 4mg, used as a muscle relaxant. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Apotex and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 60505-0252. You can also click on the NDC link for an image of the pill. I hope this helps!

Basically have been trying to manage shoulder or possibly neck tensing issue for about 4-5 months now. I also try to remain active. Go to the gym regularly. One day woke up with my right side stiff, and very little feeling in it. Called doc. Who suggested this stuff. Tried it twice. And still feel...off. Foggy, light headed, random drops (then spikes) in blood pressure pulse etc. Not at my self which is normally pretty lighthearted and goofy. I called the doctor for a follow up. Doc didn't believe me saying those problems are rare. I have not taken another pill so as to avoid making matters worse. Any one else run into this? Any advice or opinions for what to do next? Any suggestions or ideas on detoxing from this stuff? ## As a follow up. I was lucky. I got into see a acupuncture s...

## I was prescribed tizanidine for muscle pain will this medication trigger my anxiety ## I wouldn't think it would. Everyone is different but this is a muscle relaxer and therefore has some sedating properties associated with it. If anything I would think it may calm you down some. I've taken it for years and never had an issue with it causing anxiety ## How are you doing on it, Susie? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Are you on any other medications?

I'm having basically a terrible frozen right shoulder from severe muscle spasms. I was offered a 6 milligram pill called Tizanidine. I see my chronic pain doctor on Monday and wanted to know if they do a urinalysis if this is going to show up and if so how long it takes to leave your system? Any information on this would be very helpful. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. ## Yes that is a mucsle relaxer right? i have allways been told that they do not show up in your standard urine test. ## How long does it take to get tizanidine out of your system for a blood test? I need to know as I have been taking it for 6 months; two 4mg doses every day. ## Since this is a muscle relaxant, as DebbiJ has stated, it is not something included on standard drug tests, because it i...

The pill I found is round, white and had an x on one side and U 159 on the other side. What is it? ## Any chance that the imprint on your pill says "U 169" instead of U 159? Will Tizanidine show up on an employment drug test? I've been taking it for 2 weeks now. My drug test is coming up January 17, 2016. Can your please tell me the difference between: U169 and R180 I was taking U169 but when I got my new medicine I noticed the shape was different and the number on the new pill had R180. Can you please tell me the difference between the two before I take the R180. Thank you. ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? They both contain 4mgs of the muscle relaxant Tizanidine, they have just been manufactured by different pharmaceutical companies, which is very normal with generics. At any given time, the one a pharmacy carries may change, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
