I would like to know about the use of targit h 40 tablets and its potential side effects. ## Targit-H contains Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, it is used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and dehydration. ## I am 61 years old. Taking Telma H 40+12.5 mg for BP control last 2 months. I am not diabetic. I am having difficulty in passing urine. Also sleep has reduced. Somedays in night I wake up at 2 or 3 or 4AM. Sometimes my foot has burning sensation in night or mornings. Feeling very thirsty. Doctor changed the medicine from amlodipine to this recently after I complained of difficulty in passing urine and heaviness in stomach. Dear sir, I am 60 year old male having hypertension as only health issue. Since last two years I am taking Vincor AM 50/5 ,(a Metoprolol- amlodipine combination) . My BP is well under control ( 80/128). As side effects I have developed Swelling in ankles. According to Doctor it is drug induced edema. he has suggested to change medication to Telsite H (40/12.5). I am using Telmikind AM in morning and Gudprees-XL 50 in night since 3 months for High BP. On 8/8/2011 I measure my BP which was 154/70 as per the person who measured. I have a severe skin problem in the hands, neck and legs. After checking with dermotologist they confirmed i have psoriasis due to side effect of my BP TABLET.
