Sleep Issues & Bed Wetting

My son is 6yo and started taking Intumiv two weeks ago. Started at 1mg and now we're at 3mg. It is working great for his ADHD and behavioral aggression but he is waking up in the middle of the night 3-5 times and staying awake saying he can't sleep. Sometimes he wakes up screaming and crying like in a panic but can't really express what's wrong. Since it's summer and he is having such bad nights I let him sleep and he sleeps like a rock from about 6am till 11am. I even made him wake up early and not nap thinking that was the problem but we got the same night time results. He is also wetting the bed several times a week which is totally abnormal. Any advice would be great!

Hello, Kristina! How is he doing?

This medication can cause most of these as side effects, including urinary frequency. It may ease up in a few more weeks, as his body gets used to the current dosage, but it would be best to have it checked out, to be sure.

He may also experience dermatitis, hunger and decreased appetite.

I dropped him back down to the 1mg so I can monitor it more closely to see how he does on each dose. He is eating me out of house and home which is great because on his other meds he wouldn't eat at all. Thanks!
