Simvor 10
UpdatedI'm been prescribed Simvor 10. May i know if there are any known long term side effects. Some of my friends told me that it'll cause heart problems.

Simvor contains the active ingredient Simvastatin and is used to help lower cholesterol levels.
And there are always risks associated with using any medication, especially for a long period of time, but what you have to take into consideration is that, if your cholesterol levels are high, then your risks are far greater if you don't lower them and take care of the problem.
High cholesterol levels could result in blocked arteries, which could cause heart attacks or stroke.
Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor?
The most common side effects of this medication may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and joint/muscle aches.
