Where was it found/obtained? Was it in the U.S. or elsewhere?
I'm not finding this listed in the U.S. prescription drug databases and have never seen this marking, before.
With that marking, it leads me to suspect that it may be something that is available over the counter, but there is also a chance that it could be a foreign medication.
Does anyone recognize this tablet?
Help? Anyone? My child just found a bag of these and ate one. Not sure what it is!
Becca, anytime that your child, or anyone else, takes something that is unidentified, you should call your nearest poison control or emergency services.
There are some prescription medications on the U.S. market with the SCI marking, but they all have three additional numbers to the imprint.
I still can't find anything that just has a 4.
Does anyone know what this is?
This is a 1.0mg chewable fluoride tablet. The previous tablets they prescribed where considerably smaller and read P 41. I actually just picked up my sons prescription which, as I said was previously small and purple. When I opened this and it looked more like tylenol I called the pharmacy. They confirmed that the other had been taken off the market and this was replacing it.
