Need some help with a lice question. Help

Me too! Dr made me stop. Does anybody know if we can take this pill just once a day? Because I was fine until I had to do twice a day I developed a itchy rash on my neck and chest. Its Saturday Dr. told me to stay off a couple of days to see if the itchiness goes away I’m hoping I can go back on Monday. ## Once again, as with your other post, I have to ask what medication you are talking about. If you can clarify, it will make it much easier for someone to help you and provide more information. Generally, live and scabies are treated with topical medications, not pills. Can you please post back with the name of the medication you are asking about? Are you possible referring to scabies, rather than head lice? But even that usually requires a topical treatment applied to your skin f...

Need help with head lice

Hi. I started itching in the second week. One pill in the morning one in the night. On the 3rd day of that my neck and chest is extremely itchy and started to break out in a rash. I called the doctor and she said stop immediately for a couple days till the rash goes away... ughh... I hope i can go back on it and maybe just take it once a day. We will see in a few days. Hope all is well! ## What medication are you referring to? Can you please post back and clarify? You didn't mention it. Normally, according to FDA treatment recommendations, head lice is treated by using a topical antiparasitic medication, there are several that are available over the counter, but there are also some available via prescription. Usually, they are applied to the hair, allowed to sit for a period of time...

levothyoxine 200 rash

Rash from my hand fingers to my upper arms around to back. Looks like tiny scratches. Went to Dr he said Scabies. I don't believe it but I got the cream. No-one else here 4 others have anything on them. I take 200 mg of synthetic and a slew of other meds. ## Hello, Joy! How are you? Has there been any change? One easy way to tell if it is scabies is to see if the rash forms patterns. They are mites and tend to move in straight lines, so you may notice patterns that look like an N, Z or W. It should also be itchy and worsen, whenever you get warm, such as when getting a shower, or being under a blanket, because the heat makes them more active. It also typically starts between your fingers, but sometimes also between the toes. The looking like tiny scratches is likely what made your d...

does amox tr k go bad

Does amox tr-k have any potency left after 6 years? ## Hello, Barc! How are you? It's very doubtful, especially if it is in one of the bottles that pharmacies use, because even in the original factory sealed bottle, the maximum shelf-life of most pills is only 4 or 5 years. Taking an expired antibiotic is also not a good idea, since it creates the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. The FDA lists the typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

trying to find out what kind of pill is it

Ok so I went to the hospital yesterday because I started to notice bumps were showing up on my arm. They were itching really bad. The Doctor told me that I did not have scabies and it seemed to be similar to a mosquito bite. He gave me two pills to relieve the itching. I was told they would make me feel drowsy about 30 minutes later. So it's the next day and other than getting up to use the restroom I've been completely exhausted all day. I tried to watch tv but about two minutes into the show I'm dozing off. I'm wondering if it was the pills but I don't know exactly what they were. They were 2 oblong (capsule) pills that were tan on one side and navy blue on the other.. I don't remember and words being on them but they were not gel pills or the ones that dissolv...

I need to know and am afraid to use treatment until I hear from someone.I have had no problems with Trilipix and have been taking for a year. small leg cramps now and then but that is it. ## Hello, Don! How are you? Yes, a topic product should be fine, because you don't really absorb much of it to react with your medication. You may have some scalp burning and irritation from the lice treatment, though. Are there any other questions or concerns?

scabies or fungal

I was diagnosed with scabies. no skin examination done to confirm this. given the cream no relief after 10 weeks I did a thuro cleaning of all house. I work in a field corn and bean production plant that treats their product with herbicides. could I have a fungal infection? I used a jock itch spray and kinda relieved the itch ## Hello, Connie! How are you doing? Can you tell me more about the rash? Scabies are actually a skin mite and you can usually tell if that's what you have, because they get more active whenever your warm, such as while working, in the shower or under the covers. Plus they tend to move in straight lines as the burrow in the skin, so you'll notice straight lines, or angular patterns.

psoriasis tablets

Individuals with psoriasis may experience significant physical discomfort and some disability. Itching and pain can interfere with basic functions, such as self-care, walking, and sleep. scabes

where caught, how to get rid of them ## I used Dermisil, a non perscription cream and also a loquid I added to my bath water. Helped with the pain and also to dry them up. They also have a spray to use on the chairs U sit on and the carpet where you normally stand. ## Scabie is a mite, a type of skin lice, they are caught from other infection people. Treatment usually requires medications similar to those you would use to get rid of head lice. Your doctor can provide you with a prescription. Most commonly used is a lotion called Lindane: And yes, all clothing and bedding needs to be washed or sprayed, to prevent reinfestation. Do you have any other questions?
