My doctor keeps prescribing psychotic drugs to me and all they do is make me feel detached from reality and gain weight. I am on Risperidone .5 mg and the withdrawals are horrible. Can anyone help me? ## Wing yourself off these psychotic meds. They're bad news. Get on a good diet and get yourself some activated charcoal tablets from walmart and some niacin b-6 tablets, drink lots of water, start making yourself some healthy smoothies with spinach and fruit to help the brain mostly. I can't find the name of this pill anywhere. It is supposed to be Risperdone 0.5 mg, but I just wanted to make sure. ## Hi Morgan, I located a round orange/beige colored tablet with R12 on one side and M on the other side, to be Risperidone 2 mg. Manufacturer: Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00378-3512 You didn't mention anything about an "M" being on the other side, but this is the only match I found that comes close enough to your description. I found it looking through a car I just bought from a car dealership. It's round, peach, and says R12 on one side and blank on the other. I googled the pill and the results that pop up are riseperdal for bipolar, etc. but those pill images have an M on the other side, the pill I have doesn't. Can anyone help identify it? ## Based on your findings and mine, I can only speculate that this may be a counterfeit of the real 2mg Risperidone tablet marked with M R12; being that the M on the other side is the only differentiating factor. A pill press could've very likely been used in its making...and whomever pressed it may very well have left the back side blank intentionally or by mistake... There's really no way to know for certain without sending it to a lab for an in-depth ...
