Rhodes/purdue Buprenorphine Hcl 8mg Rp B8 Vs Roxanne 54 411 (Page 53)

Updated

I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name: *roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411 *hi tech- 8 ^(arrow) *mylan- M924 *teva (allergen/activas owned) crooked b 799 *actavis- moon 153 *sun pharma- 460 white round [And the brand new released generic made by Purdue and distributed by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals the new Rhodes generic] *RP b8- white round bevelled and pretending edges. I currently have had a smooth switch to the Roxanne/westward and declined mylan, actavis, teva, hi tech, sun pharma as most research and reviews conclude the Roxanne/westward generics the 54 411 seem to be best reviewed. I was unable to find the Purdue/Rhodes pharma newly released generic RB b8 imprinted generic. All I know is Rhodes and Purdue are professionals in the process of making quality meds and not just quality meds but pain relief medication, as they even were the company to CREATE oxycontin. I was able to come across one image of them on the web and they look very similar to the Roxanne 54 411s in size color and mostly shape except for the rhodes/Purdue ones protrude or kind of pop out on each side beyond the bevelled edges. They look really well made and on one side they have RP and otherside b 8 which the b and 8 are fairly far apart. I have been doing great from switching from brand films to the Roxanne westward 54 411s so far. I'm hoping to get some feedback by next month on these newly released rhodes/Purdue generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg. They are the newest and just released October 2017 and look very shinny and quality made. I'm hoping someone here who has tried both the Roxanne/westward and the new Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8 tablets. I am going to try and have my pharmacy special order the new Rhodes generics made by Purdue again imprinted RP b 8 white round shinny tablets fairly similar to the Roxanne but look better quality imo but do not have much experience with generic just brand and am very well versed on pharma companies and their medicine and their quality each one has. Has anyone tried these new rhodes/Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8? How would you compare them to the Roxanne 54 411 tablets... I hope for a response or it will be trail and error for me when ordering Rhodes next month if i stay on this route and will see how they compare to the Roxanne/westward but will not be til a month away. Please if you have any experience with these generics and especially the new rhodes/Purdue one let me know. Again I was able to locate only one image of them and they look great. They do not look small like hi tech more like a combined Roxanne and mylan with the shininess and how they pop out on each side..they look a little larger like the mylan and Roxanne not small like hi tech or teva or activas they are round tablet imprints RP b8 with b and 8 fairly far apart. Any feedback would be great and I would want to switch to rhodes/Purdue from roxanne (now westward being a factor) generics as they make quality are new just released and approved this year 2017 of October and no one how even mentioned them yet that I can find. With westward buying out Roxanne and them making changes a new generic made by Purdue may be just the one we have been waiting for and needing..again on the 54 411 ones now and looking for feedback on the new Purdue Rhodes ones and if the switch from Roxanne westward to rhodes/Purdue would be better maybe with better quality as they have always been a great and reputable company who makes outstanding drugs. Any feedback would be great.

Yes I have! There have been legal suits about teeth falling out and rotting... I'm 62 and have been on buprenorphine since 2007. My teeth are not rotten but I'm loosing teeth. And the dentist agrees with what you mentioned. I'm getting dentures soon anyways.

Hi Goozer, long time no talk! Lol I have been reading your blog here for a long time but haven't had much to say. I live in Port Charlotte Florida where hurricane ian just went through and I have lost a lot of stuff with a new damaged house...ouch. My question is....I was only lucky enough to get the Rhodes 8mg when they first came out and since then I haven't had them. I go to CVS by my house and they always have the 54s hikma. That's about the only one I have taken. Other than the original Subutex. I have stomach issues and I need to find the Rhodes bc I can handle the flavor. The 54s have been making me nauseous and the doctor suggested looking for another type... You used to be able to help people find the Rhodes way back...Do you think you can help me find them? The pharmacies are so rude and will not tell me what's on the shelf or if they can order it! Any suggestions from anyone would be great. Thanks for your time.. from port Charlotte Florida...

Walgreens/ Duane Reed. Good luck dear. I take the tiny white ones with a 8 on one side and arrow on other…they work great for me after they wouldn’t give me Rhodes anymore.

Re: Goozer (# 5) Expand Referenced Message

I have had almost every brand and most recently have the RP b8 and I feel they are the worst thus far. I am switching back to the actavis orange half moons, cause I feel they are the best.

Walgreens carries Rhodes/Purdue. They work way better than Actavis, they actually have 8.64mg buprenorphine in each pill. What pharmacy did you get westward brand? I like Rhodes/Purdue 8s a lot. I've had 54 111 before. I would love to have half westward, half Purdue. Can a pharmacy do that if you special order it?

Without going into too many details, I have been on the MAT program, taking Buprenorphine tablets, for the past three years. Maybe more. I have ALWAYS gotten the 54 411 tablets, recently, the past two months, my pharmacy has given me those RP b8 tablets. Let me tell you, unless you actually have taken the form of medication you won’t understand how it works on your actual body or the side effects. I haven’t had a SINGLE issue since I have been on the program to stay clean and I’ve done great! But ever since they gave me those other type of pills the last two months, I have found myself feeling like it’s not working AT ALL! I am to take two 8mg per day and sometimes I find myself taking more than what the doctor has prescribed me and that has NEVER happened to me anytime during these past three years!! Not to mention that isn’t something I should do because then I end up shorting myself with my medication and that has also never happened to me before!! I also find myself having cravings for other things with the more time that passes which isn’t okay because I have done so good to stay off of other street drugs! I am still clean today but the more days that pass the worse I get! I am also much more irritable and find myself having similar symptoms to withdrawal which shouldn’t happen when I take 2-8mg+ per day! I haven’t said anything to my doctor YET because I thought maybe it was just me but it’s getting worse and worse! I go back to my doctor next week and I’m definitely letting my doctor know what’s up! I definitely don’t like feeling the way I’m currently feeling….I think more people need to come forth and speak up because I know a couple other people on the same medication that I have talked to this week and apparently I’m not the only one possessing these symptoms…

I don’t like the RP b8 tablets either!

I take the hi tech ones small arrow on them and then 8 on the other side. Ask for those. I have been taking buprenorphine since 2012.

They work good. Don’t settle for the one you’re taking take care read about the other generic Bups

Re: Vic (# 1047) Expand Referenced Message

Thank you very much I am definitely going to look into it that’s for sure because I’m not breaking my sobriety just because a medication I’ve been taking for years has now switched to a different company and it’s working the same way. I usually take what the pharmacy gives me. And if they would have given me maybe half of the one and half of the other I’d make it work somehow if I had to. But the fact that they give me the whole month with the new brand hurts me. Thank you for your response! I sat here the other night thinking “man there is no way in hell that I am the only person out there experiencing what I’m experiencing”

They’re horrible I’m currently in the process of looking for a pharmacy that carries 54 411 because I’ve been going to cvs for them for the last 5 years and because I have insurance with Walgreens (I never use it) they’re telling me I can’t fill at cvs anymore even though I told them I’m paying cash I can’t use Walgreens because they don’t carry the right brand and I get terrible headaches and nausea from Teva but they don’t care I don’t know what to do I’m in Florida

RP's are the Best. 54 411's & M 924's are basically both tied for 2nd place. 460's and half moon peach bupe's are getting toward desperate end of the choices.

I think I must be the odd person out I struggle with these Rhodes. I took Actavis for YEARS no problems. I had to up my dose on these Rhodes and I feel like crap. Pharmacy was out and another pharmacy had 10 Acatvis left, I literally only needed half of what I take now

The Rhodes/Purdue Buprenorphine sublingual works well and so does the Hickma generic (those are the ones that say 54 411 on the tablet).
There's approx a 15% difference in each generic on how it affects you and how well the body absorbs. I agree that the tiny orange pills (can't remember manufacturer) DO NOT work for me!

What’s sad is the lawsuits didn’t even contact people like us who have been long time (over 15 years) on suboxone who do have major dental issues instead they just let every Tom and Harry apply. I know someone that has only been on suboxone for a couple years and they got a $1,200 check. I contacted the lawsuit company and all the payout money is long gone, was years ago.

I’ve been battling finding the 54’s for 15 years. Pharmacies do not want to pay for them that is why it’s hard to find them. Only small mom and pop pharmacies carry. Doesn’t matter the doctor specifically writes/puts on prescription to fill a brand specific every single major chain pharmacy refuses to order the 54’s.

Yes they are similar imo even better than the 54:411

I can only get actavis with the moon from any pharmacy around here and there's even a shortage of those lately. It's a search for meds every script renewal and this last time it was 6 days was without until pharmacy had them again (any pharmacy). The rhodes are gone. The actavis is not working for me like other and supposed to taper off but not able to with these and go through them a lot quicker. I need more medication almost an hour later which leads me to cravings and battling my self to not do anything stupid after being clean for 7 years, but these actavis pills are pushing me.

HOW CAN I find a pharmacy that still has others? They won't tell me and I can not even afford the actavis. I pay cash and it's $177 opposed to the $41.00 was paying for rhodes brand. Please help.
