I have taken Pentrexyl and I will admit was a little nervous about taking anything that was not authorized by the U.S. I had to take something, I had just gotten 3 of my molars pulled out and could not risk infection. I don't have dental insurance so I got the pentrexyl and started taking it, it worked great. I didn't have any problems at all.

I had an aweful flu and coughing with mucosity green (infection). I combined Mucinex with pentrexyl 500 mg (1 capsule of each) every 8 hrs and it works perfect for my. I took it for 5 days. The infection is gone, I am still caughing slighly but is dry now :).

Came down with worst sore throat I have ever had. Day 2 produced aches, sinus pressure, felt the worst I have ever felt from a cold/flu. I knew this was going to be a bad week and things would have to run there course. Bought usual nasal spray and liquids which produced little to no relief. One of my Hispanic workers went to a store and bought me some Ampicilina. I woke up the next morning and WOW. Most all the symptoms were gone. I felt like I had been bolted ahead 4 days. Felt good, had energy with just very minor cold/flu. Could this stuff really work that well? I have always been told things like this dont work on viral. Would diffently use again. Think of the money they make on trying to reduce symptoms instead of actually reducing the virus. This whole thing cost me 14 bucks. Took 500 mg. ever 4 hrs. up to 4 per day

Well this is not a drug approved for use in the US, but I am assuming from the word 'ampicilina' that it is an Ampicillin based antibiotic.
So first, let me start by saying that it is NEVER a good idea to mix alcohol and drugs of any type. The alcohol can cause serious problems in conjunction with the drugs and it can also aggravate side effects. In some cases, it can also negate the effect of the drugs, or amplify the effects of the alcohol.
In the case of Ampicillin alcohol can block the intended effects of the drug, so you do not get the needed dosage from your medication, which can lead to further complications of whatever condition you are taking the antibiotic for.
In addition, alcohol also has a synergistic effect with the ampicillin on your stomach and can cause severe stomach irritation, which can include pain, cramping, an even bleeding ulcers.

I had an infection which caused my left gum to swell. This happened to me before on my right side 2 yrs ago. I went to the dentist and he gave me a prescription for pills for the infection. The pills didn't work I was still in so much pain that I went to the hospital. Finally at the hospital they gave me stronger pills and the swelling went down in about 1 week. Well this time thanks to my girlfriend she told me about pentrexyl, which helps for infections. I took 3 pills of pentrexyl a day for 5 days and the swelling went down. It worked great for me. The only side affect was the strong urine smell it gives you while your on it. So I would recommend it to anybody that has the same problem that I had.

I have ear infection as well i went out to get ampicilina here in chicago there are several places where you can get it, and yes it's only prescribed in mexico, i've been taking it since yesterday and the results are great, i feel no more pain and i can hear better now, and as of today i don't feel any side effects, other than i go take a piss very often and smells funny but i've been told it's normal, because i've been drinking lots of water and i usually drink beer instead of water lol.

You normal have to use the whole box. it´s taken as an other antibiotic which means it´s usually taken between 5 and 10 days.
