fairly big round orange coated pill (white inside) that says apo 400 on it ## The only match I am finding is described as pink by the manufacturer, but colors are subjective, it is coated and white inside. It contains 400mgs of Pentoxifylline, a generic for Trental, it is an anticoagulant from Canada. You can read more on the drug here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## Orange, says APO 500 on one side, nothing on the other. Hard capsule shape. I know it came from Canada. I woke up the next day to rhythmic intense pain in my upper left abdomen. Had to call an ambulance... Advil had caused p...

Painful feet poor circulation

I have just started this med-- anyone experience bad side effects? I have very poor circulation in my feet. It seems to soon, but I believe I am already feeling better. I am taking it for failed tarsal tunnel surgery- interested in talking with other people on this drug. I am a 67 year old female. Seems to be quite difficult to find other people taking it. My brother is very concerned about me having a brain bleed. Are there any statistics on this? Any information you can provide will be deeply appreciated. Thank You.

B 033

White, oblong. No markings on the other side. ## The closest match I could find is a white oblong pill imprinted with "APO 033" on one side and blank on the other. It has been identified as Pentoxifylline ER 400 mg. Manufacturer: Apotex Corp. National Drug Code (NDC): 60505-0033 Pentoxifylline is used to improve blood flow in patients with circulation problems to reduce aching, cramping, and tiredness in the hands and feet. It works by decreasing the thickness (viscosity) of blood. This change allows your blood to flow more easily, especially in the small blood vessels of the hands and feet. Does this sound like a possible match, perhaps if the markings aren't clear?

Where has PENTOXIFYLLINE gone?

Trying to learn why Pentoxifylline is no longer available. the pill is oval, light lavendar, has the word MYLAN and the #357. Used to increase circulation ## I am not 100% certain, but it could be because the FDA has started a crackdown on the availability of medications that were never approved to begin with. They have had to force some companies to remove them from the market and stop manufacturing them, until such a time as they can be properly tested for safety. Have you spoken to your doctor about an alternative? ## Trental (pentoxifylline) certainly remains an FDA-approved drugs. While there are still spotty and unexplained shortages, as of now (late October 2010) they are not nearly as bad, and you should be able to find it either easily or with a moderate amount of searching. ##...
