my GP has recomended stopping olmesartan medoxomil in favour off a cheaper version, but from the same group. what are the implications of this if any. ## Which medication have the suggested? If it is from the same drug class, then in theory it should work the same, however, that isn't true for everyone. The only thing you can really do is try it and see if it works for you, without causing any problems.
