Ny Oneida County Chronic Pain Patient Sudden Dr Loss
UpdatedMy Doctor was shut down due to a horrible previous well connected patient of his who went and got herself addicted to illicit drugs, overdosed and and blamed him for her problem because he had treated her for pain for a period of time. The circumstances were extremely unfair and resulted in all of his patients including myself being left in extreme chronic pain with only one month of our medications left. I do not have excellent documentation of my spinal degeneration and since i once tried suboxone (It wasn't powerful enough to cover my pain, gave it a honest try) I am now an "addict". Can anyone help me find a doctor who will help me? I would hate to go to a "Pill Mill" but I want to continue living my life which I feel is being put on hold again and I'm willing to do anything to get it back. I was on high dose opiate pain medications treating a non-operative progressing condition. I had to cancel enrollment in school and probably lost a lot of business. I need a doctor who i can be honest with or who just doesn't care at all. I was doing better than I ever have been in my life, contributing to society, working hard on self improvement etc. Now I'm back at square one everything I've accomplished crumbling around me. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated and I'm willing to drive very far if necessary.
