this pill is oval and has a typical score on one side and and indented score on the other. it has no writing on it other than the a small 5 imprinted on the side. it is small. peach or yellow colored. ## A possible match is a 5mg Nifedipine tablet from Canada, this is used to help lower blood pressure. I'm used to taking a fairly small pill, the most recent of which is yellow. Now I have been sent (mail order pharmacy) a much larger pale brick-red round pill with KU 262 written on it. The manufacturer's name is given as Osmotica(Kramers). Is this nifedipine? I see no reason why it needs to be so big and therefore I wonder if it is something else. My local pharmacist could not identify it !!!!!! Thanks John ## I was unable to locate KU 262, I did however locate KU 260 and 261. They both are round, red-brick colored, and they are Nifedipine. The only difference is the mg's of the pill, 260 is 30 mg and 261 is 60 mg. Click here to see a picture of the pill. ## Carditas Retard appears to be a brand of medication out of China / Hong Kong, Trinidad & Tobago, India. It could exist in other countries as well, although the specific name is not frequently found in the United States. The Active Chemical name in Carditas Retard is Nifedipine. We have two drugs names listed with Nifedipine as the active ingredient: , usually administered in 30mg or 60mg. , usually administered in 32mg, 60mg. Carditas Retard seems to exist in 20mg tablets.
