I was on Lyrica 75 mg for 14 days, 150 mg for 1 day. Had nausea, headache, drunk-like feeling. Doctor took me off after 15 days. The very first day off, I had the worst pain in my abdomin, nausea, bad headache & unable to eat. After 2 weeks doctor started me on Savella. It has been 5 days on it & I have not been able to eat anything but 1 - 2 bites of food a day. Nausea so bad I had to have my husband stop on the side of the road after 3 minutes of driving. My abdomin feels like I have been poisoned. I am waking up 15 times a night, while taking 10 mg of Ambien at night. Bad headache & severe fatigue. Diarreah for 4 weeks now. Anyone else have this? ## Have you contacted your doctor about this? While the nausea, sleep issues and vomiting can be normal side effects of both th...

my blood pressure was alway normal 120/60. since taking savella it stays at 150/80. I am almost completely off the medicine, but BP still high. will it eventually go back to normal? ## I think it would be best to wait till you are completely off the medication to fully evaluate your blood pressure; but you should still keep note of it in the meantime so you can show this to your doctor for comparisons. The medication seems to still be built up in your system even though you may not be taking it as frequently as before; but you are doing good to ween off of it and not stop cold turkey. I am not a doctor however I think it should go back to normal if this medication is the cause of the high blood pressure. It would also be wise to keep track of your dietary habits; if you are consuming mo...

I'm on week 2 of Savella, not up to full dose yet, (50 mg 2x pd) I have diarreah every day, and am nauseous, and just want to eat constantly! I started the higher dose yesterday, and puked for 20 minutes after having flu like symptoms. I thought I was getting the flu, but felt a little better after throwing up, but was still nauseous all day. I have to take diarreah meds about every other day to keep it under control. I think my pain is a little better, but I can't afford any more weight gain. I'm starting to wonder if this isn't the med for me. ## Wow! Very sorry to read of what you are going through. Yes, Savella can cause the nausea and vomiting as side effects. It is not, however, known to cause diarrhea or increased appetite, but medications can affect everyone diff...

I just thought it was the weirdest side effect not listed. So dont think you are crazy cause I got it too.

My Dr. put me on Savella for chronic pain & it seemed to work great, only problem is that it caused my blood pressure go sky high. I've been on meds. for my blood pressure since. I've also tried Cymbalta (which didn't work at all). So my question is can I safely take Savella & control my blood pressure too. I have a strong family history of hypertention and heart disease. I am currently on Maloxicam for arthritis but it doesn't help as much as plain asprin. ## Savella contains the active ingredient Milnaciprin, it is an SNRI most commonly used to treat Fibromyalgia. And yes, the elevated blood pressure, as well as heart palpitations, are well-know side effects of it. It can still be used, but you do need to monitor your blood pressure regularly and your doctor ma...

Hi I would like some feedback regarding xeomin dilution rates and dose rates for cosmetic purposes. I had training in botox and use dysport for blephrospasms. However I would like to use Xeomin without an insulin syringe. I prefer the standard syringe and needle. thank you. Scotland

daughter in law was taking savella with nexium, amrix er, ambien cr, hydrocodone apap, lorazepam, apri 28 day and committed suicide. Could these led to her death? ## I am very sorry for your loss. Have you tried discussing your concerns with her doctor? Do you know what type of conditions she was being treated for? ## I have recently started savella for fibromyalgia. Everything I have read states that it can cause suicidal thoughts in the beginning.......but it also states that if there is a history of bipolar or suicidal thoughts, one should consult their doctor because dosage may need to be adjusted. My insurance company is giving me grief about paying for my savella prescription for my fibrolmayalgia. I finally find a medicine that works...I take 50 mgs in the morning and 100 mgs at night and am able to finally get through a day of work. I still suffer, but after 25 years of living with fibromyalgia and trying all kinds of meds, savella works. Now I can't pay for it. My insurance company only covers 62 pills a month - that doesn't even give me 3 weeks of coverage. They told me it wouldn't be a problem when I first questioned that I wasn't given the right amount of pills...just said to come back for a refill when I needed it. Right...when I went to refill the prescription, I was told I had to pay for it in full - no coverage. So I either suffer, or I have to pay for ...

I WAS PRESCRIBED SAVELLA FOR NEUROPATHY. I'M NOW ON THE HIGHER DOSE WITH LOTS OF HOT FLASHES. PRETTY FOGGY WITH IT ALSO. AS FAR AS THE PAIN, IT SEEMS TO BE HELPING. I'M HOPING THESE HOT FLASHES SUBSIDE AS TIME GOES BY. ## Both of the symptoms you stated can be normal side effects of this medication. How long have you been taking it, now? It may take about 2 weeks, or so, but the side effects should start to taper off as your body adjusts to the medication, but can expect to experience them, again, anytime you are given a higher dosage. I recently have been taken off a number of medications. However, two of these are made by your company. Savella and Lexapro. Do you provide any kind of discounts for those people that are on disability. Savella costs me $112 a month and Lexapro is costing me $30. ## I am looking for discounts on Savella

I just started taking Savella a couple of days ago for Fybromyalgia. So far, I haven't noticed any change except for some tingling sensations in my head. Could be the seratonin kicking in.
