@merck On Twitter: Let's Hammer 'em With Drixoral Questions!

I was just researching Drixoral availability (I'm suffering without it like all of you!) when I discovered that Merck is on Twitter under the name @merck -- Merck bought Schering-Plough sometime in the past couple of years. The same old "we're changing manufacturing blah blah blah" notice is still up on the site from like 4 years ago.

Merck is on Facebook too but I didn't investigate that.

I say we round up everyone we know who is suffering without Drixoral and start pestering Merck's Twitter and/or Facebook accounts to get some answers. We've been waiting for YEARS now!

I'm sorry for those that are suffering and miserable without it, however, at this time, whether you flood their accounts with requests or not, they aren't likely to bring the product back to market.

One of the active ingredients was Pseudoephedrine, which required it to be kept behind the pharmacy counter and that caused sales to tank severely. Thus, it was no longer profitable for them to continue manufacturing this product.

What other products have you tried?

Horse-hocky, they stopped selling it because people were making Methamphetamine with it. Like all of you I want Drixoral back. Right now my nose is running like a freaking firehose and my eyes are running so much I can barely see my screen right now. Good thing I can type.

Nothing works like Drixoral did, period. If I could find it, I'd go to great lengths to get it. I'm sick and tired of not having it and I wish our freaking government would let them bring it back for those of us that really need it. Even Mucinex-D doesn't work as well as Drixoral did.

Write your Senators to try and get laws changed so we can buy it with a prescription.
