It may be used as a nasal/sinus decongestant, as a stimulant, or as a wakefulness-promoting agent[2] in higher doses.[3] The salts pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and pseudoephedrine sulfate are found in many over-the-counter preparations, either as a single ingredient or (more commonly) in combination with antihistamines, guaifenesin, dextromethorphan, and/or pa...

## what is pseudo ephedrine for? ## need 4 hour, equate brand, pseudophedrine. previous and current sinus conditions, was on pseudovent but company quit making it. ## It is most commonly used a as a decongestant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, irritability, and insomnia. Roger, have you tried asking at your pharmacy? Most of the medications that contain Pseudoephedrine are kept behind the counter, now. They do not require a prescription, but you do have to provide ID and sign for them, due to how much there were being abused, and how many people were using them to make illegal substances.

fedac syrup

Is Fedac syrup safe for babies? There are arguments re the medication because of a baby vomitting after being fed with it. The child's father was told by another doctor that Fedac should be given to children 2 years and above. ## I am not sure which syrup you are referring to, since there are two, however, that is correct from the information listed, none are listed with dosaged for us in children under 2 years of age. Fedac syrup contains Pseudoephedrine, Tripolidine and there is one that also includes Codeine, which is a narcotic. There is concern over adults using Pseudoephedrine and Codeine, so they are generally not recommended in children. Have you spoken to your doctors about your concerns? ## May I know the correct Fedac syrup dosage for 14 months old

white pill 4434

What's the name and what's it used for ## Hi Chetniks, Just out of curiosity, what shape is this pill you're describing? So far, the closest match I've seen is a round white pill imprinted with L434 on one side and scored on the back. [Pseudoephedrine 60mg + Triprolidine 2.5mg]. I've also seen an oblong white pill imprinted with L484 - albeit the 8 could probably be mistaken for a 3 depending on the condition of the pill. [Acetaminophen 500mg] Lastly, I've also come across an oblong white pill imprinted with 44 334. [Acetaminophen 250 mg + Aspirin 250 mg + Caffeine 65 mg] Do any of these sound like a remote possibility?

Is Comtrex Still Available
5 Replies RSS
walgreem doesnt have comtrex, where can i get it ## Yes, Comtrex is still available, however, since it contains Pseudoephedrine, along with Acetaminophen and Chlorpheniramine as the active ingredients, it is now kept behind the pharmacy counter. You'll have to go to the pharmacy and ask for it, which means presenting an ID and signing for the purchase. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You cannot find this behind pharmacy counters any more - I bought some while in Erie, PA for the hollidays at Giant Eagle. Amazon also carries the drug but at a very expensive price. ## Can you still find comtrex cold medicine otc? Like at CVS or walgreens ## comtrex was the best out there for a cold and sore throat can't find it anywhere don't know why they took it off the shelf. ## ...

round, red, small, coated pill with the number 251 on one side, other side is blank ## This tablet contains 30mgs of Pseudoephedrine, a generic for Sudafed. This is a decongestant. ## I did a search on iPhone program and it said this is Nortriptyline, 35 mg. ## Thank you for all the help but we have neither of those meds in our house. I am wondering if it is something called Uricalm, which is a pill for bladder and urinary tract pain, and it is more a reddish orange than true red. It is a bit new on the market and sold at Walmart, also they are changing to a different dosage so maybe this pill wasn't around long enough to be identified. I will keep looking and double check the numbers on the pill. ## I receivd an Email asking if this was resolvèd for me. It was not so i threw t...

Taking Fedac Daily to Sleep for months.. Side effects?
2 Replies RSS
I've been taking Fedac daily to fall asleep as I have difficulties sleeping. I have been taking it for months. Should I be worried for any side effects? ## Hello, Arpeggi! How are you? Yes, this medication is listed as containing Pseudoephedrine and Triprolidine and long-term use of the Pseudoephedrine can be dangerous, it can cause elevated blood pressure and heart rate. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. It's amazing that it helps you sleep as it usually tends to cause insomnia in most people. Have you consulted a doctor to see what you can safely take to help with your insomnia? ## Many thanks for the reply, I have not spoke to a doctor about it yet. Maybe I should. I've tried to be less dependent on it, but to...
