What does it mean to have "zyd" on the prescription for Lamotrigine? Is it an instant release medicine?

Re: Taz (# 5)

"Zydus" brand generic—awesome for gaining 10 lbs every month at 300mg, just like Taro, Northstar, Dr Reddy's, Teva, and Unichem. Aurobindo doesn't have associated weight gain but you can no longer get it in the USA.

Re: Ogg (# 6)

My "Northstar" pills look like the images for Aurobindo on some sites. Have they bought Aurobindo out?
